Arts and heritage contribution

To address the absence of a national-class theater in Yunlin County and to create a superior performance venue for artistic teams, YunTech has proposed a plan to elevate the YunTech Auditorium Performance Hall to national-class status. This initiative aims to fulfill the needs of both the audience and performing arts activities. By the end of 2021, Yunlin County will boast the Yuntai Performance Hall, providing a high-quality performance space at YunTech.

Moreover, YunTech hosts various public performances organized by the university and student clubs, such as the Music Club, National Music Club, Drama Club, and Choir. These performances are either free or have minimal costs for both students and the general public to ensure accessibility.
